Can change the avatar online but it does not change in the actual application

Within my online account, I was able to change the avatar. However, when I opened my 1Password application on my iMac, the original avatar had not changed to the new avatar.

    Try logging out of the Application and back in. That should refresh the icon. Though, I can't say I recall folks needing to do this recently.

    • Be 100% certain all of your data is available on https://my.1password.com and ensure you have a copy of your 🚒 Emergency Kit and you know your password.

      Double-check that all data is present on 1Password.com. If you've been offline and you've made changes you could lose data if it is not on 1Password.com. This would include updates to items you've made.

    Look in the menu bar near the Apple logo (on the left) at the account section and then log out and back in. You would need 1Password frontmost to see the options.
