Safari extension is red badged and not able to connect to DB

Hi All,

I am running OS X 10.7.5, 1Password.app 3.8.20 (build 31499) and Safari extension 3.9.9. I had begun to have issues adding logins from the extension and had had a red badge on the extension icon for some time. After reading the advice on the forum, I updated both the app and extension (no beta's) to the latest versions.

Now, I am unable to get the extension to connect to the DB. The DB is in it's default location not on dropbox. I am able to open the DB from the app fine.

I have cleared the cache and restarted the helper several times. Deleted and reinstalled the extension several times as well. Restarted the computer a number of times and repaired permissions. Even did a safe boot just for good measure and the issue persists.

Any advice on where to go from here?

    To help us track down the issue more quickly, could you please send us a Diagnostics Report?

    In 1Password 3.8, just select Help > Troubleshooting > Diagnostics Report from the menu bar.

    If you are using 1Password 3.9 (from the Mac App Store), you'll need to follow the instructions here:

    Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support@ agilebits .com
