No way to get past initial lock screen for 1PW4 on iPad2

My ipad will not move beyond the initial lock screen when the app starts. I am never given a chance to put in my Master Password as I am on a similar install on my iPhone. 1PW works great on phone and MacBook, syncing everything between via DropBox. iPad has been uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled several times to no avail. There is only an icon of the "key lock" and an apparent field to be filled in, but no way to enter any info. I've scanned all 39 pages of forum posts and no one directly addresses this issue. Several have issues after they are into the program, but no initial issues.

    Is there a message on the screen such as "Checking iCloud" or anything? A screenshot could be helpful.
