Chrome browser extension not unlocking

The chrome browser extension is not unlocking with 1Password. I get "Press the 1Password icon in your browsers toolbar..." and autofill doesn't work using command backslash. I've trawled through the forum and tried turning off and on the browser extension (with restarting the app and the browser; I've tried the command line fix for the path to the extension, still no joy. I don't have an issue on any other computer in the household, just this Macbook Pro. What are other fixes I can try?

I will continue to research and test in the meantime and will let you know if I can get it fixed.

    ...sigh... I reinstalled 1Password and uninstalled the browser plugin, then installed the nightly browser plugin - now it works. Sorry about that! You can close this ticket.
