Browser extensions not signing in.

in 1Password in the Browser

I'm using 1Password for Mac V 8.10.18

For some reason the browser extensions aren't working to unlock 1Password. It shows it unlocks when I put in my password, but then the lock icon re-appears and it asks me to unlock again, over and over.

When I open the actual app, it unlocks and works in my browsers.

I've tested this on Firefox and Chrome - same result.

Please help.

    Hey @zackdarling,

    I'm sorry for the trouble, can you start by checking on these settings for me:

    1. Open and unlock your 1Password desktop app
    2. Click on your account in the top left corner and choose ‘Settings’
    3. Make sure ‘Keep 1Password in the menu bar’ is checked.

    Can you also check if the 1Password desktop app is allowed to run in the background?

    1. Click the 1Password icon in the menu bar and select “Quit”.
    2. Right-click your browser in your dock and select “Quit”
    3. Click the Apple icon at the top left of your screen and select “System Settings”.
    4. Click “General” > “Login items”.
    5. Ensure 1Password is enabled under ‘Allow in background’.

    Let us know how you get on and if you are still having trouble so we can try a different approach.
