i recently was presenting at a conference, and got locked out because i needed to type in my 1password password. Impossible in this large public space to do this without "giving away my password"

any solutions?

  • Hello @pathfinder76! 👋

Thanks for the question! 1Password for iOS will require that you unlock the app when the auto-lock timer expires but you can use your face or fingerprint instead of typing in your account password:

If you'd like to be prompted for your account password less often then you can change the "Require password" setting:

    1. Open and unlock 1Password.
    2. Tap the icon for your account or collection at the top left and choose Settings. (If you’re using an iPad, tap your account or collection at the top of the sidebar.)
    3. Tap Security.
    4. Change "Require password" to the desired value.

    I hope that helps!
