Settings security location

Before ever logging into my 1Password account, the settings are accessible by right-clicking the 1Password icon on the Chrome browser bar. How is this settings access more or less secure than a settings access after entering a password and logging in?

    Thanks for the question! When 1Password in the browser is locked sensitive settings, and all access to items that you store in 1Password, are not available until you unlock 1Password. Certain settings, that don't relate to security or to any of your information stored in 1Password, are available as a convenience.
