Not important, except for bragging rights, but the number of years using 1Password that is displayed in the macOS version (in Manage My Account) is incorrect. It says "7 years", but I've been a paid customer for at least 17 years, maybe longer – since the early days when it was officially named 1P. I even contributed a little to forum support back then. @ag_tommy will vouch for this 🙂.

1Password Version: 8.10.24

  • Hey there @LarryMcJ

Good to see you've been with us for so long – we appreciate the support!

The "years using 1Password" on the Manage Accounts screen is only about the age of your 1Password membership, so if you were using 1Password before that, it will have been with a one-off licence which doesn't get factored in, since we don't associate old licences with current memberships. Hope that helps explain the apparent mismatch. :)

    Fully understand, and thanks!

  • I've shared your feedback with the team just in case there's a way for the team to reflect a person's total number of years with us. Thanks again for sticking with 1Password, and the community, for such a long time. 💙
