Is there a Safari Extension for 1Password 4, and if so, is it needed?

    There is a Safari extension for 1Password 4, and you can find it here: https://agilebits.com/browsers/index.html. Install is easy - just open the URL in Safari and you should see a lovely big green button. Just press and enjoy!

    The extension is certainly not needed for 1Password to function. You can manage all your password data from within the main app. However, the browser extension makes logging in to saved sites completely automatic, which is nice :)

    Once a login is saved, all you need to do to login to that site again is click the extension icon (looks like a key) and unlock if needed. Once unlocked you can search for the site by name, and click the item to open the site and log you in automatically. (Please note, we're working hard so that this is as automatic as possible, but some websites don't play as nice with 1Password as others.)
