Cannot properly tagged items from smart folder

I have a smart folder "Smart Folder - (4)".

I drag and drop items from this smart folder to a tag "Tag - (5)" in the side navigation panel.

I expect the items from the smart folder to be tagged and visible in the side navigation panel. All of the items from the smart folder are tagged as expected. However, the count is still at 5 instead of the expected 9. None of the items show up in the side navigation panel under the tag.

Restarting doesn't help.

    Hi, @cwt. Thanks for reporting this.

    So far I've been unable to reproduce it here. The item count for the sidebar tag increases when items from a smart folder are dragged to it. And selecting that tag displays the newly-tagged items in the item list.

    However, the count is still at 5 instead of the expected 9. None of the items show up in the side navigation panel under the tag.

    Individual items will never show up in the sidebar. Presumably you just mean the item count for the tag remains at 5 even though there are 9 items with that tag?

    Have you tried toggling View > Show Item Counts off and on?

    Could you mention with versions of 1P4 (MAS or website) and OS X you're running? Thanks!
