When tying to install the Chrome 1password 4 extension I get the following error:

There was an error installing the Chrome extension. Please try again.

I keep trying and nothing happens. I was dumb enough to remove the old extension first so as not to have 2 confusing icons on the toolbar. Now I'm 1password-less!

This is Chrome Version 25.0.1364.160

Ok. The solution turned out to be Chrome and not 1password. I deleted Chrome from my apps, downloaded a fresh new install and this worked fine. No doubt something was corrupt.

Sorry, please ignore the post. Hopefully it will help someone else though.

Thanks for sharing your solution, @Kakubei. Maybe it'll benefit someone else, like you hope. :)

Yes, you must have the latest version of Chrome installed. This gave me fits yesterday. Chrome is supposed to automatically install updates - but it doesn't. I looked at "About Chrome" and it said "Google Chrome is up to date." But I was several versions behind. So I just downloaded the newest version and installed it (you don't have to uninstall the old one, in fact, DON"T!) and then the 1 Password installer could install the new extension.
