Updater doesn't work

I used 4.02

When I clicked on check updates (preferences)… nothing happens!

When I click on cancel… I get the message: no updates available. I had to download manually the 4.05 version.

Also I'm missing the german localization in the preferences/updates.

    A few of us noted during the betas that the 1st click sometimes doesn't do anything. A second click would 100% of the time remedy this in my personal usage. If you see this again, can you try that and see if it solves the issue.

    As to the updates missing translation I suspect it hasn't been submitted for translation as the update module was a re-write and add just a few versions ago.

    Just to follow up with a possible newer issue. Got the message that there was a new version, 4.4X, and supposedly update with the updater. However, still showing 4.0.5. This is web store version. Any thoughts?

    4.0.5 is the latest available version at the moment. Can you take a screenshot of the message?
