When asked for apple id no other app can be opened

when asked for apple id no other app can be opened as long as the form for the ID and password is open.
That is really annoying as I first have to cancel the form in order to open 1Password, copy the password and ask again in iTunes.
This is the same on my iPhone 4s IOX7 and IPad Air IOS7.
Even the switching to other open apps (double click on home button) does not work.

Any ideas?

    Unfortunately I don't have a great answer for you here. As Mike states,

    This is a common question, the only workaround for this is that you copy the AppleID password from the 1Password app right before you head into either the iTunes or the App Store app, and once you make a purchase, you can paste the password in.... Be aware of the Clear Clipboard timer if you have it turned on, it could be cleared by the time you need to paste the password in.
