Can't sync with Dropbox

OK, I just bought the newest One Password for my Original Ipad. I have not been able to update my data with dDopbox because it no longer worked (I'm using a PC and syncing with my Iphone and Ipad using Dropbox)) so I had to buy the latest version as your site says. Now after buying I find I can't install it on my Ipad because the original Ipad, I only have version IOS 5.1.1 on it and it can't be updated to 6 because its the original Ipad. So I bought this and can't use it, plus I paid for the original version of One Password for My IPad (a while ago)but that no longer works with Dropbox. SO I'm stuck, I paid for One Password twice, can't use the one I had been using and now can't use the new version. Doesn't make me happy!
So what do I do so I can use One Password on my Ipad, I don't want to buy a the newest Ipad just to use this program, especially when it worked just fine before you decided to improve the product.
