Random popup notification in 1Password browser

Hi there,

First, to Agile Bits: thank you for a fabulous product! I love 1Password — it's truly been a lifesaver for me! :)

I'm writing, however, looking for some help. When I access login websites via my iPhone's 1Password browser, I'm getting a random pop-up message asking whether I'd like to open a third-party URL (http://twentytwowords.com/2013/11/18/toddler-naps-...) which it totally unfamiliar to me. It doesn't matter which login website I choose, this exact URL pops up:

Is this spam? I'd write it off as popup web advertisements hosted by my login websites, except it's the exact same URL every time, and I never saw this behavior before last week. I'm hoping this is not coming directly from 1Password. Is there a way to get rid of this popup?

Using iOS7 on and iPhone 5.

Thanks.

  • @Fun2Sail If 1Password sees a URL in your clipboard, it’ll prompt you to open it in 1Browser. So you likely copied that URL sometime. Try copying something else (not a URL) and that should stop 1Password from promoting you to open that URL.
