Please wait for users to accept a solution before prematurely closing down a thread.

While what you wrote seems sensible, this is the first time the browser extension and the app versions have diverged for as long as I can remember in all the years I've been using 1P. Thus, the confusion. Also, when you go to "About" in Settings in any of the browser extensions and follow the link their to the Release Notes, they all lead to the same link -- and there is no indication that one browser extension may not have the same set of releases as another.
