4 years agoClear cache results in requirement of re-entering secret key
Hi. I clear my browser cache relatively often(not passwords). Each time I do, I have to re-enter the really long Secret Key for 1Pass. Is there some way to avoid this? I do not use the 1Pass extensio...

4 years agoHey @MrOrange! I do understand why you'd want to clear your cache regularly. Unfortunately, when that is done, you would have to indeed sign back in with your Secret Key and Account Password. There's not a way around that.
It would be useful to have your Emergency Kit handy so that you can get to your Secret Key and enter it as needed. Another option is to use a different browser for just logging into 1Password.com.
Lastly, you can download the 1Password app and use it (if you don't already have it). There are many things that you can do effectively via the app, such as editing, organizing, and managing your logins.
