Disable session expiry on page reload / new tab

Thanks for the reply, I should have mentioned this in my original post; I've already increased the auto-lock timer to max (300 minutes) and have both the browser extension and the desktop app installed. I didn't think to mention it as the extension opens the web app directly. My use case was to open multiple windows to compare details across 2+ different saved logins. The desktop app doesn't have multiple windows and the chrome extension window closes as soon as it loses focus.

I opened the new tabs I mentioned by clicking the edit link in the chrome extension. This opens a "magic login url" that links to the login details in a valid user session; however, given that I remain logged in to the extension it is very unintuitive that I should ever be logged out of the browser without me explicitly doing so. It is just a matter of inconvenience that I need to find the login and click edit again, having the browser session expire on page reload doesn't provide any security benefit as long as I'm logged in to the extension.
