Feature Request: Option for "Sign in automatically" to also automatically check "Remember me" checkb

I love auto-sign-in but also often want websites to "Remember me." I realize I can check that box prior to telling 1Password to log in, but I usually forget. It would be nice to have a feature to always check this button when doing auto-log-ins, ideally with an ability to disable this for specific sites.

  • Hello! ๐Ÿ‘‹

Thank you for reaching out. Checking the "Remember me" checkbox before filling your login credentials is the intended workflow here. 1Password won't fill and submit your login credentials without you first choosing to do so which allows you to select the "Remember me" checkbox first.

That being said, I've passed your suggestion along to the team internally. ๐Ÿ™‚

If my credentials are already saved, how do I update them to include the "remember me" checkbox?

There isn't a way to update the item in 1Password itself but you can try to save a new Login item using the following manual:

        1. Navigate to the webpage that has the "Remember me" checkbox and check it.
        2. Fill your login credentials but don't submit or log in just yet.
        3. Right-click on the page and select 1Password - Password Manager > Save > Login.
        4. Save a new Login item, don't update the old one.

Then refresh the page. If everything went well 1Password should check the Remember me option after you fill the new item
