6 months agoIf you're only using the Safari browser, and not the DuckDuckGo browser, then using DuckDuckGo as the search provider in Safari shouldn't cause any issues. If I misunderstood and you are using the DuckDuckGo browser then let me know.
In Safari, I don't recommend using two different password managers at the same time since it can lead to confusion about where a certain password is stored or uncertainly about which password manager is offering to generate a password. The best path forward is to make sure that 1Password has all of your passwords and then to turn off iCloud Keychain: Turn off the built-in password manager in your browser
