3 years agoHey @pNUBCxTU! Is your goal in going to your account at 1Password.com always to edit your logins? If so, it may be easier to simply use the 1Password app for that. However, if your goal is to access your account to change things like your payment method, then it's best to go straight to my.1password.com and sign in. Security is our top priority, so we do require that you enter your Account Password if you're starting a new session in the browser.
For some context, the extension was built to make saving and filling items easy. It is not meant to be used to manage and organize your logins or your account details. If you try to do that by editing an item, I would say that the extra steps you'd have to put in would take the same effort as going straight to my.1password.com and signing in from there. It is not really a good workaround.
If you simply want to be able to go to your account online without entering your Account Password as much, the best way to do that is to change the auto-lock settings with the steps here: https://support.1password.com/auto-lock/#manage-auto-lock-on-1passwordcom. Try that out, and if you have any further questions, please let us know.
