Safari extension does not show up

I just installed the extension for my safari browser but it does not show up in Safari preferences. I restarted the browser still no 1password extension. I tried several times and don't know what to ...

Hi @Rainer9999,

Could you please try the following steps below to see if they resolve this issue for you:

  1. Make sure you are running the latest version of 1Password 8 for Mac.
  2. Open 1Password 8 for Mac.
  3. Click the Help menu and choose Troubleshooting, followed by Fix Missing Safari Extension.

This will rebuild the launch services database and allow you to enable 1Password under Safari > Preferences > Extensions.
