Trouble signing in with passkey

This is a helpful beginning to my issues, but I have additional problems. I use a MacBook and iPhone and I have several email accounts, both outlook and gmail.
Now that I have passkeys assigned to my e-mail accounts (they show up in 1Password), I can no longer log in to those accounts using the password (they also showing in 1Password). When I am on a site that at the passkey does not work, I get a message that the password does not work and that I should change it.
Also, I used to access all my emails from iPhone. Now I get only one, so have to use the MacBook to read email. I am hesitant to delete these accounts from 'Internet Accounts' as I am not confident I will be able to reload them without the password.
I'm so confused at this point I don't even know how to ask the question.
Can anyone help me?
