Passkey support
Wha is 1Password doing to get businesses to support passkeys on it's platform? I used the DuckDuckGo privacy browser to login to Lowe's and it only supports a password.
Another business that I can't recall was logged in to using Google and the passkey was saved into Google.
That does not sound like a unified approach to passkey management nor even an approach where users have a choice.
If it were up to me my choice of a password manager would be 1password passkeys to be compatible with DuckDuckGo but not saved in DuckDuckGo but saved with 1Password.
It seems like passkeys are not very well managed by providers right now.
Am I missing something? I really don't care how passkeys work, just that they work with my DuckDuckGo privacy browser and 1Password.
Even the 1Password "passkey helper" has not worked for me because it is Google Chrome, not DuckDuckGo that gets referred to.

Yeah, it's still early days with passkeys and sites that implement them. I'm using them on major sites like Google and Microsoft, but I'm putting off using them anywhere else until things have matured a bit.
