I have a possibly clue on this. When editing the vault there is a > symbol at 5:00 on the icon image. Clicking it turns it into a down pointing V and the icon appears. Clicking it again turns it back to a > with the icon being correctly displayed in the main 1Password screen.
Hi @d_stone! I know that we typically try to work with 512x512 icons, so I don't believe they are then resized. Sometimes it's not possible to find icons of these size, so in that case we try to use at least 256*256 icons as the next option, and so on. I cannot see anything with regards to resizing.
@Dan_Aykroyd Changing the icon on the profile page for a single account will change the flag icon in 1Password. Changing the icon for the user within family account on the profile page will result in the following. Transparency is good although I can think of one exception in dark mode : dark icons. I've seen this with Filefactory for instance, in an app that accepts custom icons with transparency. Filefactory apple touch style icon is mainly black with a touch of red, it's unreadable with transparency if dark mode is enabled.
Having the dark icon option again would be nice to have it blend more into the browser. Or even doing the Safari method of changing color based on if it has access to the website or not. (Maybe even an icon option that matches other outline icons in Edge? Wishful thinking but would be awesome!)
Hi @Just_me2, If this happens could you please try to paste the icon into a Word document? Is this working or is there also a blank object? I just added an icon to a new entry via copy and paste and still there was no problem on my side...
My apologies if this is a repeat. Should I see both keychain and 1password Icons next to webpage login fields? It used to be less frequent and annoying, and now I have to disable the 1P extension completely in order to use the Apple keychain icon. Is this a feature or a bug? 1Password Version: 1Password 7 Version 7.8…
Hey @williakz , These are some tough questions
I believe the icon should change on its own, unless it is a custom icon that you've uploaded into that login item. The quickest check would be to create a new login item on that website/app and see if it has the new icon yet.
Not resolved, because the original issue is icon missing on iPad! Still not on any screen or in any folder. It does show In the dock. I can search to open it, as well. But, Home Screen icon is not there.
