Anyone help me plz...
I have upgraded 1password 6.x to 7.0 on android device.
I used my fingerprint to unlock the app before, because i forgot the master password of the local vault .
I have registed a new account and logined inside app yestoday,but the fingerprint was disappeared after i logout the account,
I can not login with fingerprint and forget the master password of local vault now, I did not copy data to new account，but i have a bakup
named "1Password.opvault" on my android device.
anyone can help me? plz...

can the android devloper from agilebits give me a beta version apk which version bigger than my 1password, and default to open fingerprint checking?

Hi @dannyhe. Your 1Password data is encrypted with your Master Password and can only be decrypted with it. While you can unlock it with Fingerprint Unlock most times, there are certain times when your Master Password will indeed be required. You can find more about that here:

For your privacy and security, your Master Password is known only by you. We cannot reset it for you and you cannot change it without entering the old one. There is also no "back door" to access your data without the Master Password. If there were, that would be a security hole that could be exploited to gain access to your secure information.

Hi @peri. I can't find my master password on android device. I have to use hashcat to crack the password of 1password with "my password dictionary",but I didn't succeed....
I have found some passwords on my iPad 1password app yestoday. I have exported the data into android device from my iPad after reinstall android app, the master password of my android should be same with iPad app,maybe there was some bugs on your upgraded.
By the way,i think the android app should be not close the "fingerprint switch" after logout the account of https://my.1password.com when i have a local folder vault in the app!0 -
Hi @dannyhe. It sounds like you had a different vault on the iPad, if it uses a different Master Password. That said, when you enable Fingerprint Unlock a secret is stored that's the equivalent of your Master Password. The reason it's disabled when you remove an account is because the Master Password for unlocking the app changes, which means the secret needs to be changed.
