For security, do I need to occasionally change my password on 1Password?

I clicked on a link falsely sent to me by a friend on Facebook. I'm changing all my passwords for security. Do I need to change my 1Password password, too?

Generally, no. From our Toward better Master Passwords blog post:

"Change a weak Master Password, otherwise leave it be"

If you have reason to believe your 1Password credentials may have been compromised then you should absolutely change them (after verifying your computer is not compromised). But if you don't have any suspicion of that then as mentioned above... generally, no.
