New label and field cannot be changed to the Date type during editing
Hey guys,
Just found what appears to be a bug and just wanted to share.
Steps to reproduce:
- Click on a saved login
- Click "Edit"
- In a gray (i.e. new) label/new field entry click "label"
- Type a name (i.e. "released")
- Click the "T" dropdown
- Change the dropdown from "Text" to "Date"
- Click on "new field"
- I'm unable to enter a date, only text
Here's the functionality that would really help me:
- Click on a saved login
- Click "Edit"
- In a gray (i.e. new) label/new field entry click "label"
- Type a name (i.e. "released")
- Click the "T" dropdown
- Change the dropdown from "Text" to "Date"
- The "new field" is replaced with the default date (i.e. 01/26/2019)
For an example of this functionality:
- Click on a saved login
- Click "Edit"
- Click the "T" dropdown
- Change the dropdown from "Text" to "Date"
- The "new field" is replaced with the default date (i.e. 01/26/2019)
Other types, such as URL, allow changing the type after entering a label. It would be great if the Date type did too because I usually enter a label first, then change the type dropdown and I always have to start over when changing it to a Date.
Hope this helps. Keep up the great work on 1Password.
Thanks.
