Family member being charged separetly

I recently purchased family option. I added my daughter and my domestic partner. I got an email from Apple alerting my partner that she was going to be billed for $35.99, when she is part of my family which I just paid earlier this month. Did I do anything wrong?

    Hello :) It seems to me that you did things right just there were a few snags that have maybe altered your true path a little in setting up you Family account but can be fixed.
    When you added your partner to your family account, did she click to 'Join the family' in the invite email and did you confirm her as a family member within your account on 1Password.com?
    Also what device is your partner using her 1Password on? Since you partner is receiving a bill from Apple it sounds to me like she may have downloaded the 1Password app from the App store rather than 1Password.com and signed up for a new account through the app? If she did this it would mean she would have been billed as an Individual account once the first free trial month is over.

    As @nedmullen1 mentioned, it sounds like your partner may have accidentally signed up for her own 1Password.com account, which is why she is getting the alert about the bill. Even if your partner later joined your Family account, she will still be billed for any other accounts that she signed up for on her own.

    So we can get this straightened out, could you please have her check to make sure that all of her data is in her account on your Family plan? She can check within the 1Password app(s) by selecting her "Personal" vault under her account on your Family plan: https://support.1password.com/all-vaults/ – She can also check by signing into her account on https://my.1password.com

    If she seems to be missing data, then she might have saved some items to her Individual account. Those items can be moved to her account on your Family plan by following these instructions: https://support.1password.com/move-copy-items/#move-or-copy-items-in-the-apps

    Once you confirm that her data is safe and sound in her account on your Family plan, she can safely cancel her subscription for her own Individual account: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039

    Thanks Brian, makes sense, but the odd thing is that she never had 1P until after I set up the Family Plan. I have to do a deep dive into her stuff. Thanks again.
