Add a new field to all current and new logins

I would like to add a field called "email address" so that I can note the email address that an item has if it uses a non-email username. I would like for the field to be present on all logins and to be part of the template when new logins are created.

Is this possible?

    Sorry, this ability is not available at this time. You can add an email field on an item-by-item basis, but you can't change the default item template.
