Feature request: Show password as QR code
Hey folks, I have a habit of creating ridiculously strong passwords for every service I use. That goes for my wifi password as well. Just now I setup a friends phone for accessing our wifi. While typing in 63 characters I had the idea that it would be really nice to not only be able to reveal a password but also reveal in form of a QR code so I can easily "transfer" such secrets to phones that are not and should not be connected to my 1password vault. I guess this might be an edge case but I just wanted to throw out the idea nevertheless.
Cheers,
Ben

Thanks for the suggestion @jimonthebarn. That may be something we can consider as a feature for a future release. In the mean time... if you're using iOS on both devices there is a feature in iOS itself that makes this much easier:
Share your Wi-Fi password from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Android may have a similar thing, I'm not sure.

ah! i've been using this method for a while, now and it prompted me, today, to ask for a feature to add the QR code generator into 1password, rather than have to create on a 3rd party site and copy the jpeg into 1p
