How do I go about reloading the 1Password7 app?

I deleted a file from the app and now it will not open and fill Safari. I have downloaded 1Password-7.2.4.pkg

I don't know if I should delete the existing copy of 1Password7 or not? what should I do next?

1Password Version: 7.2.4
Extension Version: 7.2.4
OS Version: 10.14.3
Sync Type: iCloud
Referrer: forum-search:I deleted a file from 1Password7 app and believe I need to reload the app. How should I do that?

    @wsjohnson44: You definitely only want one copy of 1Password. Just drag the existing copy to the Trash, restart your Mac, and install the latest version you downloaded from us. :) To be clear, your data is stored separately from the app itself, so no worries there.
