Antivirus Alert for 1Password link
Hi, I don't know if I should post this here, or email 1PW support, so if this is the wrong place please delete.
I was browsing your doco and found this useful page https://support.1password.com/explore/extension/
I clicked the link under "Fill two-factor authentication codes" which points to the page https://support.1password.com/one-time-passwords/
Kaspersky blocks this page with the message "Threat of Data Loss". I elected to allow access from Firefox browser and later checked the Kaspersky log - screenshot below.
Allowing this seems to be browser dependent - I later tried from Chrome and got the same "blocked" message
I am running a windows 10 desktop with Kaspersky Internet Security 2018 version 19.0.0

Why did I post about this? - I guess its because its always a worry when an AV program complains about a site. Does anyone have any ideas as to why Kaspersky is objecting to that URL ?

Kaspersky's website is not reporting a problem with this link:
Could you please verify that you have the latest version of the software as well as the latest virus definitions installed?

Hi Ben thanks for the response.
I believe I am up to date. I have firefox and Kaspersky auto-updating. Kaspersky is Kaspersky Internet Security 2018 version 19.0.0.1088 (D) - Patch D was released 3 Dec 2018 and the AV database had been updated 10 min ago.
I just updated and restarted chrome and went to that 1PW link. The screenshot gives a bit more info:0 -
Update: I did what you did Ben - used https://virusdesk.kaspersky.com to check the link - I didn't know about that scanner - same result - link ok.
So I posted on the Kaspersky forum to see if they can help

Kaspersky responded acknowledging the false positive and should be getting this fixed up in an update soon. :) Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
