Going from stand alone on 1 computer to all device membership
I have on my iMac 1Password Version 6.8.8 (688001).
It has auto updated over time from version 3.
I want to use the app on all my device , so I'm going to get a membership.
All devices updated to latest operating system each can use.
I'm wondering about all the logins and credit card data in my current version migrating to the new membership on all devices on what I assume to be version 7.
Any help?
Thanks,
Joe

A to above my post, these are the "versions" I can find:
1Password version: 6.8.8
OS Version 10.14.3 (Mojave) on iMac
OS Version 10.11.6 (El Capitan) on older MacBook
iOS Version 12.1.4 on both iPhone and iPad
Extension version on iMac only 2.70.00 -
Hi @gogojoe! Welcome to the forum!
You can definitely migrate all your data to a 1Password Membership account. What I recommend doing is choosing your "main" computer where you want to do this, and normally it's easier if you do this from a Mac rather than from a mobile device.
The process looks like this:
- You sign up for a 1Password account
- You add this account to the 1Password app on your main computer
- You move your existing data from your existing vault to your new 1Password Membership account
- You remove the old vault from the app as the last step, so you avoid having duplicates
On the other devices, all you need to do now is to login to your 1Password account in the apps, and all your data will be there.
I hope this helps, and let me know if there is anything we can do to help!
