64bit support for OP-CLI under WSL
I have downloaded this version of the CLI https://cache.agilebits.com/dist/1P/op/pkg/v0.5.5/op_linux_386_v0.5.5.zip
I am trying to run this in a WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) Ubuntu shell on a Windows 10 machine, and am getting this error:-bash: /usr/local/bin/op: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error
Typically, this error occurs when trying to run a 32bit binary in WSL, which only supports 64bit versions.
Is this the problem ?

have you tried the 64-bit linux binary from https://app-updates.agilebits.com/product_history/CLI ?

Yes, @rudy is correct, the download you want is https://cache.agilebits.com/dist/1P/op/pkg/v0.5.5/op_linux_amd64_v0.5.5.zip, which is the amd64 build of the CLI.

thanks. that worked great.
I was tripped up by the AMD designation, as i am running Intel, but now i know :-)

Glad to hear that worked out, and sorry for the confusion. AMD wrote the original spec, which is why it is often referred to as "amd64" (regardless of who makes a chip that follows the spec). :+1:

Yeah, Intel's 64-bit Itanium architecture did not fare well. :glasses:
