2FA is active still Watchtower says that 2FA is disabled
I have 2FA enabled via the authenticator app on my iPhone for my Dropbox and Facebook accounts, still in Watchtower both the websites show up under Inactive 2FA. Why is this happening ?

2FA will only show as active if it is enabled using 1PW as authenticator. There is no way that 1PW can know that you are using another authenticator.

Indeed, do you have your TOTP secret for those accounts saved in 1Password so it's generating the code for you?

Thanks for clarifying . Yes, i was using Google Authenticator instead of the 1Password TOTP service.

You can add the tag
2fa
to those entries to stop Watchtower from complaining.0 -
@razasayed, XIII is absolutely right (thank you @XIII).
You can add the tag 2fa to those entries to stop Watchtower from complaining.

Hey, @razasayed.
Before knowing 1Password has TOTP built-in, I also used Google Authenticator. I just wanted to recommend you to migrate them over 1Pass, because of the convenience. Once you log in with your Username and Password through Auto-fill, 1Password also fills the 2FA code automatically, so you don't have to open the Authenticator app.
I find that very handy and time-saving!
