How to save form fields?

On this page, I have to fill in three fields to log in - Organization Short Name, User ID, and Password.

https://www.access.usbank.com/cpsApp1/AxolPreAuthServlet?requestCmdId=login

When I use 1Password X to create a new Login, it doesn't save the Organization Short Name. How can I get it to fill in the entire form for logins?

Hey @TheCat! I just tested this out in the stable version of 1Password X, and I'm not seeing the same results. Can you please follow these steps and let me know if you're seeing the same?

    1. Visit https://www.access.usbank.com/cpsApp1/AxolPreAuthServlet?requestCmdId=login and fill out all three fields
    2. Before clicking Login, click Save Login below the password field. Be sure to save a new Login rather than update your existing and name it something different than your existing Login
    3. Refresh the page
    4. Click the 1Password X icon to open the popup
    5. Click Autofill next to the new Login you just created

Did you find that all three fields filled for you?

That worked, thank you. I see that the fields are saved in Web Form Details. How can I manually edit them? They don't appear on the Edit page.

  • Hey @TheCat, I'm glad @kaitlyn was able to help you out here. If you have either 1Password for Mac or Windows, you can edit the details there. It's not currently possible to edit web form details on 1Password.com. If you need to manually edit the web form details for some reason, I would suggest saving a new Login altogether to make sure the right details are saved reliably and in the right way.

    Thanks. I'm using 1Password X.

  • I meant if you happen to have the desktop app in addition to 1Password X installed. Some people do have both. Of course, if you're not on macOS or Windows, this is a moot point. If you do happen to have a Mac, you could even help us beta test integration with 1Password for Mac, which would allow you to edit an item directly in 1Password for Mac from the Edit button in 1Password X.
