When I click on the mini nothing happens. I've tried quitting and reopening Safari and unchecking and rechecking the extension but it doesn't help

quit safari, opened activity monitor and force killed any still running processes. That seemed to "fix" it.

I should have mentioned that my Safari version is 12.1. I also should mention that In Firefox 67.0 I can't even find it.

    Hello @martinliss and @cactusj,

This may work (it does for me).

If you are comfortable with the shell:
    ps -ej | grep 1PasswordNativeMessageHost

use the process id (second column) and type
    kill -HUP

If you are not comfortable with the shell, launch Activity Monitor (located in /Applications/Utilities).

Search for Native and it should display the process info for 1PasswordNativeMessageHost. Select that process and kill it with the X button (force a process to quit). 1PasswordNativeMessageHost should re-spawn and just do the search again and you should see a new process running.

There is another thread where rebooting seemed to help some folks.
After a reboot you may need to reinstall the plugin for firefox?

@martinliss: If you're still having trouble, make sure you check for and complete any browser and OS updates (we're up to Safari 12.1.1 now), and restart your Mac. Let me know how it goes!

Great! Thanks for letting me know. It sounds like you should be good to go, but we're here if you need us. :)
