was working fine first thing today...
then I was prompted to an update, which I performed:
1Password 7
Version 7.3 (70300020)

Now when I CMD and back-slash, I get

which I have also added to Chrome and activated: Version 74.0.3729.169 (Official Build) (64-bit)

what have I done wrong? or is it broke?

TIA

1Password Version: Version 7.3 (70300020)
Extension Version: 1.15.2
OS Version: macOS 10.12.6
Sync Type: 1password

    Hi @moof

It looks like you've installed the 1Password X extension, rather than (or perhaps in addition to) the traditional desktop extension. 1Password X is great, and may be worth trying out, but it doesn't work with the ⌘ \ shortcut due to a restriction in Chrome. For the traditional extension it isn't actually the extension itself that listens for the keyboard shortcut but rather 1Password for Mac. With 1Password X, because it can be used without the 1Password for Mac application, the 1Password X extension itself has to be the one to do the listening, and Chrome doesn't allow ⌘ \ as a shortcut for extensions.

If you just want the traditional extension you can find it here:

    Download for Mac

(look for "an extension to your Mac app" rather than "no Mac app required")

I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

ahhhhhhh and normality is restored! :)

    thanks Ben!
I thought I hadn't put a Chrome thingamajig in place before now...

just removed the extension and turned 1Password extension (desktop app required) back on

CMD back-slash is once again working!

    8-)
