U2F and account recovery

Hello everyone. I know another family organizer can recovery my account should I lose my password and/or secret key.

However what happens if I have enrolled in U2F with yubikey? Can a family organizer still recover my account even though I have a Yubikey attached?

I want to attach my Yubikey to my account, but I want to know if another family organizer who does not have U2F enabled can still recovery my account,.

    Hi @Seattle2000

    This is a great question, and I'm glad you asked. Putting an account through recovery removes the 2FA/2SV from the account. 2FA/2SV is not required on an account in order for that account to perform recovery on another, though that is certainly something you could discuss with your Family Organizer(s).
