Feature Request/Change: Leave 1Password Mini browser open when editing items
I'm pretty sure this is how it used to work before the latest update, but now, when I open 1Password Mini, which I do hundreds of times a day, and then decide to edit an item, the item pops out on its own and the mini "browser" disappears. When I'm done editing, I'm stuck. I can't search for a different thing, or even readily use the item I'm editing to log in on the site I'm on. I basically have to start over.
I have sooooo many logins in 1P that this is a frequent workflow for me:
- I open a site and activate 1Password Mini to log in
- I see that the item I have for that site has some issue. Commonly: the site it's keyed to is wrong, I want to update the title, I want to add a note, all kinds of things
- I click edit to make that change while I'm thinking of it
- The item opens in a separate window and the rest of Mini disappears
- I make my changes and save the item
- I just have that window open and nowhere else to go without starting over again
Thanks for considering!

@a_hecht - no, you're correct; the "Edit" behavior in 1Password 7's mini changed to always "pop out" now. There were a few reasons for this, but I wanted to point out that you can re-invoke the mini at any time with keyboard shortcut
⌥⌘\
(opt + cmd + backslash), or, if all you want to do now that you've corrected whatever it is you needed to edit, is open the page and fill the data (sign in), you can use⌘\
. Hope that's helpful. :)0
