Update causes 1PW not to work on Firefox

Every time I install a 1PW update, it stops working on my laptop. I just installed the latest suggested update, and now 1PW is not filling passwords on Firefox. What to do?

    When this happens, does restarting Firefox make things start working again?

    I rebooted the laptop and that evidently worked, so perhaps that's required. Thanks for responding!
