Forgot to mention this started after latest U. S. Bank update. Worked fine before.

When you're trying to use 1Password is it with iOS 12's AutoFill which we cover on our support page Use 1Password to fill and save on your iPhone and iPad. The AutoFill feature and our ability to integrate with it in iOS 12 is a great boon, it means 1Password is able to work in so many places we couldn't before because iOS extensions had to have supported explicitly added in each iOS app. As AutoFill is part of iOS it means we can work anywhere iOS allows it. There are caveats though, 1Password surrenders all control over detection and filling - 1Password basically provides the username and password and the domain for which these credentials apply.
It could be the bank in question has either deliberately attempted to block the use of filling or it was all accidental. Sadly though if it is AutoFill then we have limited opportunity to alter the behaviour you're experiencing. It might be worth reaching out to the bank to see what they say.
