We offer a few different types of 2-factor authentication / 2-step verification.
- TOTP: Using an authenticator app like Authy, Google Authenticator, or Microsoft Authenticator. https://support.1password.com/two-factor-authentication/
- Duo: Primarily uses push notifications to their mobile app to approve/deny sign-in (*additional cost). https://support.1password.com/duo/
- U2F: Relies on a hardware token/key like a Yubikey or Titan (*hardware keys sold separately through 3rd parties). https://support.1password.com/security-key/
