1Password always crashes on opening after scanning Setup Code for my 1P account

I have been having problems for the last couple of weeks with different passwords for the same entry among my wife's iPhone and MacBook Pro, and my iPhoneX, Mac Pro and MacBook Air. On one of us experiencing a "wrong password" message from a website and going through the "reset password" routine and saving the updated in 1Password, the new information is no longer passed on to both of us users. So the next device or app that needs a password has an old one stored, initiates another password change and the previous password is no good. During the last week I find that now multiple copies of logons (usually exactly two but sometimes 3 or 4) are showing up in 1Password wherever it is consulted; they are usually identical including date and time.

Today I tried to troubleshoot just my MacBook Air and my iPhone X. After scanning the Setup Code gotten from 1Password on the MacBook Air, the next time I restarted 1Password on my phone, it accepted my password but a whitish screen that appeared to have two choices flashed for maybe a quarter of a second and then the whole app disappeared.

I don't even know where to begin troubleshooting this. The difficulties seem to have started after getting a 1Password account and having to try to deal with the complexities of multiple vaults. But I really need the 1Password on my iPhone.

    I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties. If you are experiencing crashes with 1Password for iOS, first please be sure you are using the latest version:

    1Password for iOS on the App Store

    If you are, and are still experiencing crashes, please send us the crash logs directly. Here are the steps you'll need to follow:

    1. Plug your phone into your computer and sync it with iTunes.
    2. Switch to the Finder, click on the Go menu and choose "Go to Folder..."
    3. Paste the following into the window that pops up: ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/
    4. Select all the files that begin with 1Password and drag them to Mail in the Dock to create a new mail message.
    5. Address the email to support+forum@agilebits.com

    In addition I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your iPhone:

    Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.
