Not receiving forum notifications

Hello,

I'm not receiving any email notifications when someone replies to one of my threads or comments.
This is in spite of having all the email options checked in notification preferences.

I have checked my spam folder and it does not contain any email notifications.

Is there another setting I need to check somewhere to ensure I receive email notifications?

    Hi @omzaz!

    We have received a few reports about this lately, so it's possible that there is nothing wrong with your email configuration. I believe we have reached out to Vanilla to report this issue already, but apparently it has not been fixed yet.

    Hi @ag_ana if you continue to have problems with notifications and want to consider switching forum platforms, can I suggest you take a look at Discourse. I now participate in multiple Discourse-based forums (as a user, not an admin) and they’re great. Much better than forums which run on other software.

    +1 for Discourse forums.

    Especially on iPhone the experience would be much better.

    @prime: I'm sorry about that. We're looking into it.

    @omzaz, @XIII: It's one we've considered, but we haven't found an alternative that has all the features we'd need.
