1Password stopped working with Starbucks app
I tried to copy and fill with the Starbucks app and it won’t work now. My Starbucks app had an update to v3.0. It worked before the Starbucks app update with v2+?
When I tap/press the password field to fill, nothing happens.

Can you please clarify what you mean by "nothing happens"? Do you see the 1Password Autofill button coming up above the keyboard, or is that not showing at all when you tap on the password field in the Starbucks app?

Hi
I disabled iOS 12 AutoFill. I can copy the password but I cannot copy and fill inside the Starbucks app login. User ID Fill doesn't work either. There is no "paste" like there should be inside the password box. I have tried tapping and pressing. The "paste" doesn't show up. I cannot be certain where the problem is since 1Password (updated to v7.3.6) and the Starbucks app were updated.

It sounds like the latest Starbucks app disabled pasting in the login form. Are you able to paste correctly from 1Password in other apps, even after updating 1Password to 7.3.6?

Sounds good!
Looking forward to hearing back from you! :)

I have tried filling Apple ID info, OneDrive and Flickr apps (so far) and filling from 1Password works. I have not noticed other issues.

It sounds like Ana's suggestion that the Starbucks app has disabled pasting into the login form is right here then @wkleem. If that's the case, I don't think there's much we can do to fix this unfortunately as the Starbucks app is outside of our control :(
You could try out iOS AutoFill to see if that works, or generate a different kind of password called a memorable password (on some platforms this is the "words" option on the password generator), which you might find easier to type out manually. If you need anything else, let us know :)

Thank you. It's annoying but I will try your suggestion Harry_AG! There is a password recipe which I will have to look into, for the Starbucks app.

Hi
I tried iOS 12 AutoFill. With iOS 12 AutoFill enabled, what I see is, Passwords with a key icon? I log into 1Password and it works but it's not how it should?

I don't follow. What do you mean when you say it works but it isn't how it should?

With the first iteration of iOS 12 AutoFill I saw a list of selectable logins above the iPhone keyboard. Now I see with iOS 12.4 "key" Passwords. I did not screen capture the old way. Something changed with iOS 12.4 and/or 1Password v7.3.6. I have to log in each time now.
Here's a review which shows something similar::

There are three ways the autofill UI can present itself:
- On top of the keyboard, with a username shown (tapping this will fill the login associated with that username)
- On top of the keyboard, with the word "Passwords." Tapping on this will bring up the list of available passwords.
- As a big blue button, which when tapped will fill the login shown in the button
1Password does not have direct control over which of these interfaces autofill uses at any given time / for any given site. Autofill has its own logic for making that determination.

Thanks! It's something I will have to get used to.

1Password extension does work better in some cases and with the 1Password App. The Starbucks App does not support Apps Love 1Password and paste is disabled for the app, so AutoFill is the only way to go, for the Starbucks App.
Re: Apps Love 1Password, I tried to report that one chunk of the old Agilebits blog went missing. No response from Agilebits so I hope you've taken note.
ag_ana : Have you found any?
All the documentation pages are on 1Password.com, not on agilebits.com, so please let us know if you have seen any pointing to the wrong place.

The old link was here but now is redirected to (should have been from, not to):

iOS Password Autofill is probably the way forward, is already really convenient, and will probably only get better. :)

IOS AutoFill does have its idiosyncrasies. I’ll need to screen shot some examples if you all are interested. Before the new OSes are released.
In the example for Microsoft login, there are two possible choices, home and iCloud, and both logins shown here are wrong.
Another example is with the AutoFill search bar from inside Starbucks app. Other apps won’t have search capability but some do. Which is odd.

I had problems with inserting my images. What was supposed to be two different images ended up as the same image twice from the iPad. Please remove one image, the one on TOP?

It looks like Starbucks hasn't added compatibility for autofill in their app yet. They don't have an
Associated Domain
, for example, which is why you see the search field and listing of all logins. Autofill fortunately works fairly well even in most apps that haven't explicitly added support, but hopefully apps will continue to update to adopt full support.I had problems with inserting my images.
