The free version of 1password no longer works. I have subscribed the iphone app still doesn't open

I have used the free version of 1password on my iphone for years. My master password no longer opens it. Despite subscribing, the app still does not open with the identical password. When i access the app store, the only version I see is the original. What is the next step?

    I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. Are you able to sign in at https://my.1password.com in a web browser? Also, where is your 1Password data currently stored? Did you have 1Password set up to sync your data anywhere? Please let me know. We'll be happy to help.
