Here is a tip for anyone with the same issue I have with the Flickr app, or any other app. iOS AutoFill did not appear until I manually typed in my Flickr login email! I discovered this by accident from my iPad and it worked. I still have the problem I described above:

It isn’t just the iPhone SE now? I noticed with iPad Mini 5 and iOS 13.1.1 the same covered up Master Password is happening? It shouldn’t be happening.

I clicked on the Password “key” icon in iOS AutoFill.
1Password ... (For the sites which show AutoFill)

Flickr still doesn’t work properly. On the iPad with iOS 13’s one handed (Floating) keyboard, it mitigates the issue of the Master Password field being blocked. I suggest getting familiar with the iOS 13 new keyboard options.

Putting my iPhone SE IN Landscape (lines are from Markup when I attempted to save a screenshot):

    and back to Portrait:

I first noticed the the iPhone SE ability to rotate in Standby, etc. in iOS 12 but never put it to use.

The Master Password field works in spite of the glitches.

Indeed, it helps that iOS shows the key you pressed right above it, but I find the floating keyboard useful for getting it out of the way of what I'm doing too though. We'll look into the rotation issue. That's really odd.

It can look worse than what the screen shot displays. The Markup tools can be intermingled with the Master Password field and placed haphazardly. It doesn't always happen.

Previously if there was a floating (one handed) keyboard from Apple, as was rumoured, it was not evident and was hidden for 5 years (iPhone 6 Plus).

Please play around with the portrait - landscape modes. The more I try the odder it gets after a few rotations.

Thanks for letting us know about the lock screen issues. We'll see what we can do. :)

No problem! I hope the issue can at least be mitigated

WRT the iOS lock screen/standby, iOS 13 does not have the rotating issue iOS 12 had, being able to rotate but 1Password still rotates when my iPhone SE is in landscape mode. The 1Password 7.4.1 app itself doesn't rotate but the AutoFill and 1Password Extension rotates in my SE.

I haven’t removed the Primary vault from the older 1Password Android and IOS devices. How does this affect my current issues like the Microsoft login indicated earlier?

As I cannot remember the old password and the vault was imported into my subscription account, I can just remove the vault. Dropbox is now limited to 3 devices for Dropbox Free.

The 1Password 7.4.1 app itself doesn't rotate but the AutoFill and 1Password Extension rotates in my SE.

Ah, thank you for clarifying! I've added that to the issue.

I don't believe that should affect this issue, but it's something we can look into.

As I cannot remember the old password and the vault was imported into my subscription account, I can just remove the vault. Dropbox is now limited to 3 devices for Dropbox Free.

That said, if you already have that data in your 1Password account, I'd definitely either remove the Primary vault or reset the app to set it up with just your account. Much simpler. :)

Thanks for the tip. You may want to compare the rotations.

I discovered the 1Password Extension in landscape mode is less glitchy than iOS AutoFill. Portrait mode back from landscape mode has no glitch with the 1Password Extension but it still has the keyboard overlap. IOS AutoFill is more glitch prone, like before.

AutoFill in the Apps is worse than AutoFill in Mobile Safari when performing the same rotations?

I have reset 1Password on my devices.

After I reset 1Password, my Microsoft login issue as originally shown was solved. However it now behaves like the Flickr App I am complaining about.

For my SE, the Microsoft App (OneDrive), it is the same as the Flickr App.

Re: My iPad Mini 5 with the Microsoft App in landscape mode, the keyboard also blocks the master password field. Rotations won't unblock the Master Password field. I haven't tested most Microsoft Apps.

    IOS 13.1.2.

Rotations won't unblock the Master Password field while in Landscape mode. It works properly in Portrait mode.

    OneDrive v11.1.5
    iOS 13.1.2

I have discovered another issue which might relate to 1Password's App love 1Password? I found a 1Password Key icon in my Microsoft OneDrive App, top right hand corner, but it now fails to work. The master password is typed in, correct login selected and then nothing happens. I tried several times.

Thanks for the clarifications. We don't have control over Autofill, as that's handled the the OS. But we're looking into the lock screen issues. :+1:

P.S: OneDrive 11.2.6 is the current version in the App Store, but I'm not getting Autofill or the 1Password extension there at all. You'd need to bring it up with Microsoft. Those aren't things we can fix, as both require changes on their end in the app.

Thank you. iOS 13 it appears has its own teething issues.I'll update the Apps as they appear.

I had the 1Password lock icon here but when I switched it off 1Password vanished.

I clicked on Edit actions ...

Quite peculiar. I removed 1Password here and 1Password Extension was gone/disabled from Mobile Safari and adding back to Mobile Safari also adds it back to OneDrive.

Evernote and Dropbox have 1Password Extensions in them. I removed 1Password from OneDrive and 1Password was gone or disabled from Mobile Safari, Evernote and Dropbox. Turning it on in Mobile Safari put it back in the apps.

iOS extensions are enabled/disabled system-wide. Disabling it "from OneDrive" in the Share [ ↑ ] menu would disable it everywhere. But it sounds like you enabled it again, so it will be available in apps that support it. :)

    Hi

There is no share sheet in the supported Apps. Just a 1Password lock icon or a key icon as shown in OneDrive.

I must have misunderstood as I thought it (App love 1Password) was a 1Password feature for the individual app Developers to adopt if they wished to? That was the Apps love 1Password? I did not think it was linked in any way to Mobile Safari and it was independent of Apple.

In IOS 12 if I turned if off it was per App? Your documentation on older features in old OSes is lacking.

    IOS 13 Screenshots:

Just letting the forum know what’s happening.

The share sheet should be available in most (all?) web views, and then 1Password should be available. Safari supports extensions. But 3rd party developers that want to allow the 1Password extension to work (without a web view) in their apps need to add support for it explicitly. Less of an issue now that Autofill is available most places, but still useful in some cases. :)

Thanks. I was confused about what was happening. With all the different versions it can be hard to keep track of the features.

I purchased Kissell's Take Control of 1Password which should clear up some of my questions.

    Hi

Apple's Catalyst is in development? We can only hope Flickr will be able to get a Catalyst version into the App Store eventually.

I am wondering about 1Password 8 and iOS 14 for my 4+ years old iPhone SE. Apple’s 2020 compact sized iPhone is the iPhone SE 2020 is now at 4.7”. What are the chances of a 4” iPhone working reasonably with 1Password 8? Some issues are still present from when I last reported them. No change. The iPhone keyboard still overlaps the Master Password Lock screen even with 1Password 7.5 for iOS when using Mobile Safari. The last time the Master Password lock screen looked good was with iOS 12.

    Old Screenshot:

The rumour is that iOS 14 will work with the 4" iPhone but I won't know if it is true for another 3 months when WWDC 2020 starts...

    iOS 13.4.1
    Mobile Safari
    1Password 7.5.1
