"Open and fill" does not work in Brave Browser

Hello, maybe there is a setting I'm missing; my 1Password's "open and fill" works in Safari, but after I made Brave the default browser 1Password doesn't fill in the username or the password automatically, it only opens the website. I experience this on all websites that I tried, including this forum.

    Have you installed the 1Password browser extension in your Brave browser already?

    Good to hear you have it sorted. Although what you experienced with 1Password X wasn't actually unexpected behaviour. 1Password X is a completely self contained instance of 1Password within your browser. It does not communicate with the desktop application. So clicking Open and Fill would not do anything as there is nothing for the desktop application to tell to do the filling, at least for now. There are some exciting new features for 1Password X coming down the line in the beta versions that may change things. So stay tuned! :)
